The hotel is conveniently located near attractions in Pigeon Forge. The rooms, while very outdated, were surprisingly clean, providing clean linens and bedclothes. The staff, although indiscreet, tried to address reservation discrepancies promptly. Parking was ample, and the front desk staff were helpful. The dining options were limited to weekends only, with average quality meals. The pool area needed maintenance due to excessive algae, posing a slipping hazard.

The hotel was certainly an interesting mix of positives and negatives. The rooms weren't exactly what I'd call tastefully decorated; it felt like a blast from the past with that purple carpet and brown bathroom fixtures straight from the 70s. However, they were clean and provided the basics for a decent price. The service, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired with housekeeping scrambling on New Year's Eve and a general lack of warmth from the staff. On the bright side, the location was great for exploring nearby restaurants, even though there were some unsafe spots close by. The dining options were a bit misleading and limited, not quite living up to expectations. Thankfully, the facilities were adequate, redeeming some of the shortcomings of the stay.
